Design Process
The design process can vary with every web designer. Here at JR Web Designs, we like to make the process as clear and as fair as possible for both sides. Our design process is split up into four stages. Each stage is detailed below.
Stage 1 - Discussion, Estimate Proposal & Invoice for 50%
- Discussion
- This part of the first stage is meant as a way to get to know what you are looking for with your website.
- Estimate
- The estimate outlines the scope of work to be done and the total cost at each stage.
- Invoice
- When the estimate is approved, a detailed invoice for 50% is sent out. Stage 2 starts after invoice is paid and web hosting is procurred.
Stage 2 - Design and Invoice for 25%
- Design
- The design segment is a back and forth process to ensure the design is correct. Design completion includes installation of the system used (if any) and any themes that are selected. Design modifications are also completed in this stage.
- Invoice
- Once the design is approved, an invoice is sent out for 25%. Payment of the invoice signifies approval of the design.
Stage 3 - Development & Invoice for Final 25%
- Development
- The development phase involves adding any content given to us (by you) and arranging the navigation in a logical and visually compelling way. Any required/requested modules are installed at this point.
- Invoice
- Payment of the final invoice signals approval of the finished website. The website is then turned over to the client.
Stage 4 - Finished Website is Handed Over
- Finished Website
- Payment is finalized and website login credentials are given to the client. Any and all required training is performed at this time as well.
